Today marks the christening of my 0021st offering at the hallowed altar of underground dance music, and the end of my five month hiatus from releasing music.
I’m extremely proud and *very* humbled to present to you “A Billion Holes In Black Velvet.”
I’m not a fan of genre-izing my work; but I can’t help but feel the vibes of Trance music in this release. I first started tapping into the world of dance music back in 2004 and it was always a wild dream of mine to *truly* produce something in the realm of Trance, and today I make that dream come true!
The rather lush vocal that you will hear says “See me, feel me, hear me, love me, touch me…” This resonated with me immediately seeing that I firmly believe that we can all relate to saying such words to ourselves at one point, projecting this energy out into the universe.
I believe we all aim to be understood, but at this point in my life I cannot help but think that we are *not* here to be understood, but rather to actualize our creative potential in whatever realm or vocation that might be.
This vocal and record nonetheless is an ode to anybody out there that is feeling lonely and misunderstood, or feels like they will never be understood, such as myself, who has chosen to imprint this sentiment into my music with the faith that everyone on planet earth can relate.
Trance was *really* my first love, and I’m delighted to be able to offer a deeper and intimate sonic examination of myself to a world that truly saved my life and shed so much light on hidden parts of myself that I never knew existed, such as my innate creativity.
